CPAP and DRY MOUTH ... what is the cause? In many cases it means you are breathing out of your mouth! My father has sleep apnea, though it has not been diagnosed yet through sleep study. That's the problem. He is unable to travel to a study center location (double amputee, bedridden/housebound, medically unstable for transport). Does anyone know of sleep study firms that conduct in-home testing? We are located in the southeast, equidistant from Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida.
That CPAP website was good. There was a lot of helpful information there, thanks! I just bought my first CPAP machine, the Respironics M-Series, and I got it from this website called www.cpaphouse.com. It was cheaper than other places and they even gave me free shipping. I had a question about the machine though, so I emailed the company, and they actually sent me an answer! I couldn't believe it. I recommend them if you need any CPAP supplies.
